At SetupMyBusiness (SMB), we are committed to delivering high-quality digital services, development solutions, and brand experiences. Because many of our services involve custom work, significant time investment, and digital deliverables, our refund and cancellation rules differ from traditional product-based businesses.

This Refund & Cancellation Policy explains when refunds may be issued, how cancellations work, and what clients should expect.

By purchasing a service from SMB, you acknowledge and agree to the terms below.

1. General Policy

All services provided by SMB are custom, digital, or time-based.
For this reason, refunds are not guaranteed and are issued only at SMB’s sole discretion.
Payments made for consultations, custom deliverables, active projects, or digital work already performed are non-refundable.

2. Cancellations Before Work Begins

A client may request a cancellation before SMB has started any work on the project.

If no work has been started:

  • SMB may approve a cancellation,
  • SMB may issue a partial refund, or
  • SMB may issue a full refund, depending on circumstances.

Refund eligibility will depend on:

  • Time reserved/scheduled for the project
  • Resources allocated
  • Pre-work preparation already completed

SMB retains the right to deduct any costs already incurred.

3. Cancellations After Work Has Begun

Once work has started, refunds are generally not provided.

This includes:

  • Custom software or website development
  • Branding and design work
  • Bots, automations, or system integrations
  • Marketing strategy, ads management, or creative services
  • SEO, content writing, CRO, consulting, or analytics
  • Any digital work, deliverables, or time spent
  • Company setup services (UK LTD / USA LLC)
  • Blockchain, trading bot, or technical development
  • Indicators, scripts, digital tools, reports, or analytics dashboards

Because these services require time, expertise, and resources, SMB does not refund payments for partially completed or ongoing projects.

4. Monthly Plans, Retainers & Subscription Services

For monthly or retainer-based services:

  • All payments are non-refundable once the billing cycle has started.
  • Cancellations apply to the next billing cycle, not the current one.
  • Work completed during the active month remains billable.
  • Clients may cancel future renewals by emailing support before the next billing date.

5. Digital Products, Indicators & Downloadable Assets

  • Trading indicators
  • Pine Script strategies
  • Digital dashboards or tools
  • Templates, assets, or downloadable products
  • API-based systems or custom scripts

Once access is delivered, the product is considered used, even if not downloaded.
This protects SMB from unauthorized use, duplication, or redistribution.

6. Business Setup Services (UK LTD & USA LLC)

Payments for business setup services are non-refundable after processing begins.

  • Company filing
  • Address setup
  • Phone number allocation
  • Document preparation
  • Banking assistance attempts
  • Digital presence setup

Once SMB begins processing any step, refunds cannot be issued due to administrative and third-party costs.

7. Project Pauses & Client Inactivity

If a client becomes unresponsive or delays the project:

  • SMB will hold the project for up to 30 days.
  • After 30 days of inactivity, the project may be closed with no refund.
  • Work can be resumed later at SMB’s discretion and may require additional fees.

All delivered work remains non-refundable.

8. Quality Assurance & Revisions

SMB provides revisions as outlined in the client’s selected plan or proposal.

Refunds are not granted due to:

  • Preference changes
  • New ideas after work has been completed
  • Differences in creative style
  • Disagreements after project delivery

Revisions are provided to ensure satisfaction within scope, but they do not qualify as grounds for refunds.

9. Chargebacks & Payment Disputes

Attempting a chargeback without contacting SMB first is considered a breach of the Terms of Service.

If a chargeback is filed:

  • SMB may provide transaction records, communication logs, and delivered work to the payment processor.
  • Access to all services, deliverables, accounts, and ongoing work will be terminated immediately.
  • Legal or collection actions may be taken if fraudulent activity is detected.

10. Refund Request Procedure

To request a cancellation or refund (where applicable):

  • Full name/company name
  • Email used for purchase
  • Invoice or transaction ID
  • Service purchased
  • Reason for the request

SMB will review the request and respond within 7–10 business days.

11. Exceptions

SMB may consider case-by-case exceptions in situations including:

  • Duplicate payments
  • Accidental multiple charges
  • Billing system errors

These exceptions must be verified through our payment processor.

12. Policy Changes

SMB reserves the right to update or modify this Refund & Cancellation Policy at any time.
Updates are effective immediately upon posting on our Website.
